Kronos values your privacy and does not collect personal information. The app, set up correctly, works fine for seeing a day of scheduling at a time.
It works fine for seeing and submitting other information. But at no point is it smooth, logging in takes a bit and must be done from blank each time, regardless of the remember me setting.
Security seems fine, it automatically logs you out after a bit, but if you need to pull the schedule into another app you likely need to go day by day for the notes about each shift. For me this routinely means logging back in at some point while checking over my schedule. So it would be tremendously convenient if it was easier to export to Calendar, if it allowed for FaceID, and if it remembered log-in credentials.
Still, beats out the standard method my work puts out paper sheets in the break room for scheduling. Every other day or so, when I go to log in to the app, I receive a server error, which is inescapable unless you delete the app and all its data, and re-download the app, re-enter the server, and log in again.
A lot of effort just to check my schedule. Takes forever to load every single screen, not just the app but on desktop as well. Even when I click keep me logged in, it logs me out every single time I used it.
What is the server address?
Location services are completely inaccurate. I believe it grabs your location from where you sign in and NOT punch in. I am currently in a battle with my work who is accusing me of punching in outside of work - which I have never done - because the location is inaccurate. Thank God security badges log when we enter the building or I would have been fired due to the inaccuracy of this app showing I was punching in on the highway etc.

I have unchecked the SST devices from the old PC, then checked them on the new server, but I get nothing in the log as far as punches. Also, will the software run if I don't login. I have it running as a service, but when i log in it also starts the Application. The software will run as a service, so no logging in is Necessary. Do you know what clocks you're using?
I also handle hardware here. It sounds like the setting were never updated. I would uninstall the app completely from the old PC. Also, the MW runs funny most of the time The service is still running on the old PC.
I was trying to get the new PC up and running and disable a few devices on the old and enable on the new to verify it is working.
Yeah, I've been told by the Kronos support about shutting down the service before running the app. I tried to update the settings to a device that is disabled on the old server on the new server and got this in the log:. Ok, can you ping the clock? Does the middleware let you see the Status of the clock? How about VLANs? Do you have admin access to the clock itself? You may have to verify that the network config hasn't changed. This might be a port issue.
Can you take a screen shot of the middleware settings? The connection refused error usually means the clock or MW is expecting different settings ie Host Port, etc. This also happens when the service is left running on a different installation.
That clock should be able to store punches for a while 3 days? That still looks like it's causing the issue. Yes I can ping the clock.
